Our counsellors are students and young teachers from the areas of pedagogy, sport, psychology, ... They are selected first and foremost by us with regard to the qualifications you expect. Experience with children and youths, a sense of responsibility, athletic and creative talents, knowledge of foreign languages, etc., ... are all requirements for a successful employment in our camps.

Our counsellors make sure that your children feel at home in our camps. The various camp staffs are not only responsible for the organisation and implementation of an extensive and varied sport and free-time program, but also share in teaching, sports, activities, educational subjects, administrating pocket money, etc. Naturally, our counsellors are there for your children whenever problems, or other necessities, arise. They are friends, brothers, sisters and substitute parents during the camp. With jokes, conversation, and if needed -- a bed-time story, our counsellors are always in the right place at the right time giving individual, and age-appropriate care, from the youngest camp "rookie" to the "coolest" teenager. Everything from brushing teeth to just hanging out and chatting! ...
Each camp has its leader!
Our leaders take care of the camp participants and the smooth running of the camp term. Their task is the supervision of the counselors, they are the contact person for sports facilities, for the holiday farm director and naturally for the ya! Camps department. If you should have questions regarding your child or regarding the camp term, we ask you to directly contact the relevant camp leader at the camp itself.

Additionally, all camp staff are trained and educated in camp organisation, motivation, first aid and law at the ya! Counsellor Seminar.

Information regarding specific matters
Our counselors and camp leaders are not responsible for illegal actions by, or prohibited substances held in possession of, the camp participants. In case of illegal actions by the camp participant, the counselors and leaders do not assume responsibility for the participant
