Our additional Booking Conditions

We adhere to the conditions outlined by the Association of Austrian Travel Agencies (ARB 1992). In addition to, or in deviation from, the conditions of the Association of Austrian Travel Agencies, the following terms apply:

1. Organizer's Liability

The young austria Service GmbH., functions as fully licensed travel agency.

young Austria - Österreis Erlebnisgästehäuser GmbH functions as a booking office for all camps in Austria: English-Action Camp, Germancamp, Dietcamp,  Horse-Riding Camp, Learncamp and Multi-Activity-Camp.

The tour operator (RSV) is not held responsible for impairments and disturbances in connection with services, which are provided solely by other operators (e.g.: excursions, sightseeing and diverse sports programs, etc.). In addition, the RSV does not act as organizers with regards to bus and rail travel included in the tour packages. These services are organized independently by the transportation agencies solely at their own risk and are merely procured by us.

In order to provide protection from the consequences of self-caused damages and injury by a camp participant or third parties, a personal accident and liability insurance is a mandatory requirement for each participant.

2. Minimum number of participants

If we are forced to call off the holiday for unforseen reasons (for example, if the minimum number of 20 camp participants, or 12 for train transport is not reached), we are unable to provide neither substitute services nor compensation. However, in such cases you will receive the deposit back. RSV reserves the right of cancellation for up to six weeks prior to the start of the holiday. RSV will not cancel holidays later than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.

RSV reserves the right to change the camp location 6 weeks prior to the start date of the camp. In this case the camp will take place in an equally equipped alternative location.

3. Limitations of Liability

The contractual responsibility of the tour operator is limited to three times the cost of the holiday.

1. insofar as the damage or injury of the traveller was neither intentional, nor carelessly brought about by gross negligence, or,

2. insofar as the tour operator is responsible for the injury or damage to a traveller due to the fault of a service provider.

RSV reserves the right to make price changes which are caused by circumstances beyond their sphere of influence, misprints and calculation errors. (Cancellation clauses according to point 7.2, ARB 1992). We reserve the right to make changes and/or substitutions in program content.

Our camp councellors and leaders are not held responsible for possible illegal acts or prohibited substances in the possession of the camp participant. In the event of such a case, responsibility is not taken over by the councellors and/or the leaders.

The exclusion of a participant can result if at the time of registration a contagious or other momentous disease is concealed, in case of immoral conduct, criminal acts and/or other conduct for which the councilors can not assume responsibility. No restitution of travel costs can be made as a result the expulsion of a camp participant.

Due to the law of insolvency protection, customer's money  is protected if you meet the following conditions: The deposit of 10% of the total amount has to be payed earliest 11 months prior the agreed end of the camp, the final payment is due 20 days before the camp starts. Additional prepayments are not and will not be secured.

4. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is binding for us as soon as we receive the booking online, by fax or by E-Mail. You will receive a confirmation of enrollment along with the payment dates and an insurance form of our company. The first payment in the amount of 10% is due within two weeks. The final payment of the remaining balance is due 3 weeks before the start of camp. The payment must be made free of expenses.

Changes can be done, if possible. € 25,- will be charged per person. Deposits remain valid.

We will send you the travel documents after receipt of the final payment. Unfortunately, we can not hold a place in our camps for your child if full payment is not received before the beginning of camp in the form of a bank receipt, dispatch of the transacted payment, or the actual transference of funds.

A reservation fee of € 15,- is charged for each booking.

5. Discounts

Only one discount per person is possible - discounts can not be accumulated.

6. Extensions

If a camp holiday is extended, proof of payment for the extension must be shown no later than on the day the camp term changes, otherwise we can not accept the booking, and we will be forced to arrange a premature return journey at the expense of the parents.

7. Cancellations

(deviating from Point 7.1.c., ARB 1992)

Fundamentally, we must be informed of any cancellation by registered letter. In addition to Point 7.1.c, ARB 1992, in case of No-show, the cancellation fee is 100% of the holiday price. A cancellation can only be made in written form.

Costs and responsibility for return journey are with the legal guardian.

We recommend you to conclude a "Cancellation insurance" if due to sickness a cancelation or early departure is necessary.

10. Complaints (supplementary to Point 5.3., ARB 1992)
