German Language Camp

yala - young austria language academy Book online « back to list

Young participants from all over the world turn our German Language Camp into an ‘international camp’ and create a hangout for different cultures, languages and perspectives!

"Live languages instead of learning them!" is the motto at our German Language Camp!

German ends up being the camp language, be it in individual workshops, around the camp fire or on an excursion! Our common goal is to immediately apply what has been learned to everyday situations at camp and during the numerous leisure activities. A placement test takes place on the first day after arrival and, based on the results, the participants are divided in to appropriate language level groups. Various workshops and project units to the extent of 20 sessions per week (45 minutes each) help you dive into or deepen existing knowledge of the foreign language in an informal and lively manner!

Getting it right! – Let’s talk about grammar

Grammar can be exciting and fun, thanks to tips and tricks, mnemonic aids and lyrics that make that jungle that is German grammar a little easier to get through!

Lederhosen & Co – Regional studies and cultural misconceptions
