English Action Camp 05.08.24

The children arose to the sound of music this morning, ready for another day. After a fueling breakfast, English lessons could commence. The children, together with some new faces, began another day of learning. This included fun get-to-know you games and activities to help their English understanding and speaking. The next activity of the day was a visit to the supermarket where the children could spend their pocket money that they have here at camp. It was a fun trip and a nice walk to the town of Radstadt. Following this, the older children began a raft making competition using natural resources to create small boats, large enough to carry a shoe a short distance down the stream. The younger children had an exciting game of 'Capture the Flag' in the woods! The game wound down with two movie showings here in the Simonyhof house - 'Spiderman Homecoming' and 'The Emoji Movie' - both of which seemed to be fan favourites. We look forward to a day out at Wagrain tomorrow!
