Outdoor Activity Camp 19.08.2024

Today was a day full of creativity and fun at summer camp. The morning started with a burst of imagination as the kids gathered in their groups to design their room posters. Armed with colorful paper, vibrant markers, and plenty of ideas, they transformed simple sheets into mini masterpieces that now proudly adorn the walls of their rooms. Each group brought their own flair – from wild animals to fantastical landscapes, the posters reflected the unique spirit and camaraderie of each team. These creations aren’t just decorative; they’re a symbol of the unity and pride within each group.

After our creative session, it was time to get moving with some dancing. We kicked things off with our traditional camp dance, a beloved ritual that everyone looks forward to. The joy and laughter were infectious, and before long, we found ourselves trying out a few other dance moves as well. The energy was high, and even the shyest among us couldn’t resist joining in on the fun.

Once the dancing shoes were set aside, it was time to pack for our hut hike. Each camper grabbed their backpack, filled with essentials for the night ahead in the mountain hut. The excitement was palpable, and despite the cool temperatures and the thick fog that accompanied us on our hike, spirits remained high. The mist enveloped the landscape in a mysterious veil, turning our journey to the hut into a small adventure of its own.

As evening fell and we arrived at the hut, things took a cozy turn. After a warm meal, the kids gathered around for a few rounds of card games. There was plenty of laughter, some triumphant cheers, and maybe even a little bit of friendly cheating – all in good spirits and with lots of fun. The hut, which had seemed almost magical in the mist during the day, became a haven of warmth and togetherness by night.

And so, another eventful day at summer camp came to an end, filled with experiences that the kids will surely remember for a long time. Every moment, whether creative, adventurous, or simply relaxed, contributes to making these days unforgettable – not just for the campers, but for us counselors as well, who are lucky enough to share in these special times.
