Vincent Ackermans
is a qualified teacher, the organisational leader of the camps and is responsible for the selection and training of our counsellor team. Vincent chooses the counsellors in a multistage selection process and personally interviews the short-listed candidates.

If an applicant shows a sense of responsibility, social competence and has a good instinct for kids, they will be trained to become a counsellor at the young austria camps. Many of our more than 150 counsellor have worked many years in young austria camps and see their work as more passion than job.

Ute Frommater
runs the camp office in Salzburg and is the first contact person for participants and parents. Throughout the year thousands of emails and phone calls are handled by Renate. With lots of know-how and care, she answers all questions about our camps and fulfills any special requests. As a sociologist and world traveler, she knows first-hand possible problems and can respond promptly. Every matter is taken seriously and handled with the highest attention. Judith also deals with the bookkeeping, the correct and timely delivery of travel documents and is part of the creative process of further developing our camps.

Markus Lorenz
is the man for travel logisitcs. He is anaccounting teacher and is active in adult education. young austria works closely with the German and Austrian Railways. For many decadeswe have brought our camp participants from around Germany and Austria safely from A to B. We also offer an airport service inMunich. That requires efficient planning, flexibility and an excellent team. Markus personally selects around 100 travel supervisors and trains them for their travel supervisory task. His professional background is the optimal prerequisite to complete these important tasks.

Alice Kaltner
Trend Scout and Quality Manager Alice is an experienced mountain climber, qualified sports scientist and alpine instructor. Through her practical and theoretical competence and personal experience, she knows exactly what safety is about. Alice selects all our external sports partners and checks their equipment, professionalism with our participants and proofs their permits and insurances. Her attention to detail is second to none and no one knows more about sport than she does.

Currently Alice is taking her baby break.
