With professional native-speaking trainers from the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, English isn’t just taught – it’s brought to life! Participants from all over the world come together here to learn, laugh, and grow through exciting activities – all in English.
English Classes with Native Speakers
Lessons are led by experienced native speakers from the UK, the USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. They bring their language to life – sharing their culture, humour, and enthusiasm to make every session fun, authentic, and memorable.
In around 20 varied learning sessions each week, campers build their communication skills, vocabulary, and grammar – all through exciting topics and real-life situations. With role-plays, discussions, games, and creative projects, English becomes a lively, hands-on experience that inspires confidence and curiosity.
Project-Based Learning – Learning by Doing
In our project sessions, English becomes the language of creativity and teamwork! Whether you are filming a short movie, performing a play, conducting interviews, or giving group presentations, you will use English naturally from the start. This hands-on approach builds confidence, communication skills, and shows how much fun learning can be.
Individual Placement – Stress-Free
On the first evening, you will take part in a relaxed, playful language placement – no tests, no pressure! Through fun activities during the evening program, our team gets a sense of each child’s English level to create balanced, supportive learning groups. This way, everyone feels comfortable and confident right from the start.
Language Levels
Our classes follow the CEFR levels (A1–C1), ensuring everyone learns at the right pace. Beginners are always welcome – what matters most is curiosity, enthusiasm, and the courage to use English in everyday situations.
Learning Folder
At the beginning of the week, you will receive your own learning folder – a personal space to collect projects, assignments, and progress. By the end of camp, it becomes not just a keepsake, but a proud reminder of how much can be achieved in just one week!
Certificates
At the end of the camp, you will receive a certificate recognising your active participation – a meaningful acknowledgment of your achievements and a keepsake to remember your time at camp.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES
Whether you are into sports, games, or creative projects, there’s something for everyone at English Action Camp! After the interactive lessons, our Activity Leaders guide you through a fun and varied program full of sports, outdoor adventures, and creative activities – all in English, of course.
In addition to sports, various creative workshops, team-building activities, and a relaxing afternoon at the water park, you can look forward to two special highlights each week. To keep things exciting even for two-week stays, these highlights alternate weekly:

Our activities not only boost team spirit, self-confidence, and group cohesion, but also give you plenty of opportunities to use English naturally in real-life situations – all while having fun!
In the evenings, an exciting English-language program keeps things lively and full of variety. From pub quizzes and talent shows to campfires, Jeopardy, or cozy English movie nights, shared experiences are at the heart of every activity. Our counsellors foster an open, cheerful atmosphere where everyone feels safe, new friendships are formed, and English skills are strengthened playfully. At English Action Camp, every day is a special experience – from the first “hello” in the morning to the last “goodbye” at night.
ACCOMMODATION
The English Action Camp takes place at the ya! Erlebnisgästehaus Simonyhof in Radstadt. Surrounded by nature and set in a peaceful location with no through traffic, the Simonyhof offers plenty of open space around the house. In summer, the large outdoor area of the youth hotel and numerous activities in the region invite you to enjoy shared adventures and relaxed get-togethers. Sports enthusiasts will love the large multi-sport court and beach volleyball field right on-site. On hot summer days, the outdoor pool with its 40-meter giant slide – just a 20-minute walk away – guarantees refreshing fun in the water.
Culinary delights are provided by fresh products from the property’s own farm, ensuring delicious and sustainable meals throughout your stay. In the evenings, campfire nights under the starry sky and regular barbecues create unforgettable moments.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there are plenty of cozy indoor spaces available, including a modern multi-purpose sports hall and a multimedia room for varied and engaging activities.

arrival & departure information
You have the possibility to bring your child directly to the camp - so you can get an idea of the ya! Jugendhotel, the counselors and the surroundings.
Important information: On the day of arrival (Sunday) you can check in with your child between 15:00 - 18:00 - on the day of departure (Saturday) you have to pick up your child until 11:00.
If it is not possible for you to arrive or depart during these times, please contact our office in advance.
If you want to stay overnight near the camp on the day of arrival or departure, please contact the local tourist office.
You are welcome to book a trip with the camp bus from/to Salzburg every week.
There is a meeting point (Salzburg main station) where you can entrust your child to us. The bus departs at approximately 15:00. Exact information about the meeting point or times will be given to you 2 weeks before the camp starts with the travel documents.
The hotels are located approx. 100 km from Salzburg main station; travel time by coach approx. 1h40min.

Since we offer accompanied train travel from / to Germany only every 2 weeks, we offer a pick-up service from the platform for 1-week stays at the main train station in Salzburg. Certain trains run through from Germany to Salzburg (without changing trains). If you trust your child to travel alone, we will be happy to pick them up directly at the train platform and accompany them to the shared transfer that will take the children to the camps. We do not charge any extra fee for the pick-up service - only the costs for the collective transfer from Salzburg to the camp have to be paid. The ticket for the train ride has to be organized independently. We will be happy to help you find the right connection.
The escort service from / to the train platform must be booked in advance! Please note that the collective transfer from Salzburg leaves at about 15:30, so the arrival should ideally be between 14:00 and 15:00. For return trips, the train should not leave before 12:00 and not after 13:00.
Should the train be significantly delayed, any costs for an individual transfer to the camp may be incurred.
How does the accompanied train journey work?
A ya! travel guide will meet you and your child at the departure station at the platform of the given train. He/she looks after the group, takes care of the children joining at a later station and hands over the children in Salzburg to the ya! team. From here, the children will travel on to the summer camps with the other participants in buses. You will receive detailed information on train times, train numbers, etc. with your travel documents.

On the day of arrival, your child will be met in the arrivals hall by a ya! caregiver and will be taken care of from this point on. Games, craft materials and snacks are included!
On the day of departure, your child will be taken to the airport and, depending on the departure time, accompanied to the check-in counter/passport control. Should there be a waiting time at the airport on departure, your child will of course be looked after by our team.
Please note that the service at the ya! Erlebnisgästehaus ends after breakfast at the latest; the children will be taken to the airport together in the morning; during the waiting time at the airport, the children will of course be looked after. Additional childcare costs may apply for departures after 16:00.
The ideal arrival and departure time for your child is between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
